Boiler-grade temperature and pressure resistance is something cooling tower controllers cannot achieve.
The Pulsafeeder MBC100 is the conductivity controller in the PULSAtrol series specifically designed for boiler applications. Unlike other models in the same series, such as the MC9200/9300/9500 and MCT100/200, which are more geared towards cooling towers, the MBC100's sensor withstands temperatures up to 204°C (400°F) and pressures up to 17 Bar (250 PSI), enabling it to withstand the high temperature and pressure environments inside boilers, which are far higher than those in cooling towers. It utilizes microprocessor technology, features an 8-digit LCD display, and comes standard with a conductivity controller and a dosing timer, making it suitable for the automated control needs of boiler blowdown and chemical dosing.

Usage restrictions and precautions
The MBC100 is specifically designed for boilers, and its sensor's temperature and pressure resistance specifications (204℃/17Bar) are far superior to those of typical cooling tower controllers. If your application is a cooling tower rather than a boiler, we recommend choosing the MC9200, MC9300, MC9500, MCT200, or MicroVision/MicroTrac series. These models are designed for the temperature and pressure environment of cooling towers (approximately 50-52℃) and are more cost-effective.
